Alternatives to DocuSign
DocuSign advertises its annual-prepay rate as the headline price, and the monthly figure is materially higher. For most people the more interesting difference is the free tiers, which vary far more between these services than the paid plans do.

Worth knowing before you stay or go: The ongoing free account is for signing, and sending is available during a free trial while ongoing sending needs an eligible paid plan, so there is no free way to send a document to somebody else for signature on an ongoing basis. Recipients generally need no account, which makes the account requirement a sender question. Bulk Send is vendor-supported with plan and automation allowances. The eSignature features are separate from the individually entitled IAM, CLM and notarisation products. Documents are processed on DocuSign’s servers rather than on your device. Agreement Data stays at rest in the region assigned to the account, while limited transaction and authentication data and any enabled integrations may cross regions; the region cannot be moved for an existing account, and cloning the account to a new region is a separate documented route.
The short answer
The closest DocuSign alternatives in this index are SignNow , Dropbox Sign and PandaDoc . They share enough of the job to be worth comparing, which is why they are on this page - a shared job tag is a candidate, not a finding that they work the same way. What separates them from DocuSign is what they charge and whether your file leaves your machine. DocuSign uploads your files to a server .

A tool marked same owner is operated by the same company as DocuSign. That does not make it bad, but it is not an independent alternative - switching to it does not change who holds your documents or sets your terms.
