The directory data
Every tool here - 155 of them - as one JSON file or one spreadsheet, including the facts this index exists for: whether the file leaves your device, whether redaction actually removes content, and whether the tool is currently answering.

nullmeans we did not establish it. It does not mean "no". A null price is a price we could not verify, not a free product. - Redaction verdicts come from vendor documentation except where a record says its verdict was tested, which means we ran the tool on a canary document ourselves. 8 of the 155 have been.
- Locality is one observation, not a guarantee. Where there is a verdict it says which tool on which surface we drove, and on which date. Where there is not, the reason is recorded rather than left blank.
- Availability is one request from one machine at one moment. A refusal is usually bot protection and is not an outage. Do not build a status board on it.
- It is a snapshot. Generated 21 October 2026 from the same files the site renders, and the site is rebuilt whenever one of them changes. A copy you took last month is wrong in ways you cannot see.
What is in it
- Identity
- name, tagline, website, launch year, who operates it
- Jobs
- which of the eleven jobs it does, which is primary, the quality score, and any scope note where the job name is broader than the capability
- Price
- the pricing model, the cheapest way to start, the period that figure covers, and the vendor's own figure in its own currency where the record has it
- Redaction
- whether it removes content, only covers it, or has no such feature, with the basis for that verdict and what it does not establish
- Locality
- what our own probe observed about where files are processed, with the date, or the written reason there is no verdict. Where the documented editions disagree, the verdict is mixed and names which editions are on each side; where they all run on a server the operator controls, it says so. A single boolean cannot carry either, so the editions are in the row too
- Editions
- per edition processing, interfaces, account requirement and licence components, so a product sold in several editions is not flattened into one answer
- Formats
- what the tool takes and what it produces, where a vendor source states it. An empty array means we did not establish it, and only a few records carry it so far
- Availability
- the last check, its latency, and the share of recent checks that got a response
- Licence
- open source, self-hostable, what it runs on, where data is stored
- Provenance
- how many claims the record carries and how many we have verified ourselves
Licence
CC BY 4.0. Use it for anything, including commercially. The one condition is attribution - credit Dialegein and, ideally, link to this site. That is the whole reason for choosing a licence with a condition rather than placing it in the public domain: if the data is useful to you, a link back is what keeps it being maintained.
